Meditation Pavillion in a Forest

"Architecture that connects the body, mind and spirit"
JONATHAN FRIEDMAN
Adjacent to the Forest Spa Project is the meditation pavilion. As a dedicated entrepreneur, the client is committed to enhancing their mental and physical performance through meditation, stretching, and massage. The pavilion serves as a sanctuary to rejuvenate, revitalize, and maximize health and well-being.
The building turns inwards, offering framed views of the sky, water, and trees. Rough concrete walls tune out unwanted noise, such as motorboats and cars.
Materials are carefully chosen for their appearance, performance, and properties, such as how they sound, smell, and feel when in contact.
Sustainable strategies include removing no mature trees, using low-e-concrete, passive ventilation, and collecting rainwater.
